•Walking/Hikes - Take a Hike - Throw on a daypack, bring plenty of water and get out there and explore. Trail Suggestions

Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary Located in Delta, over 230 species of birds. Be sure to bring bird feed and a picnic lunch. Kids love chasing and feeding the birds while enjoying a nice outdoor walk.

•Visit a Beach – visit a beach to swim, play in the sand, play sports, lots of beaches to visit in Vancouver! Don't forget to bring some snacks, fluids and sunscreen! Vancouver beaches and White Rock Beaches

•Visit Steveston, pack a picnic, buy fish and chips near the pier, eat it on the beach, enjoy ice cream, visit the wonderful shops, see the boats, buy some fish or prawns to bring home for dinner, num!

Happy Mother's Day - Best part of being a mom...

  • My daughter and IHearing I love you, even though she tells me every hour.
  • Seeing my kids smile, even if the smile is mischievous.
  • Being "invited" to a special tea party by my daughter with "water" as pretend tea and with cups that are encrusted with dirt from the day before.
  • Hearing a cry in the middle of the night even though I wished for a good night sleep, holding them in my arms reminds me that I don't care what time it is.
