2. Heritage Christmas at Burnaby Village Museum

Join us this Heritage Christmas for some old-fashioned fun and spectacular light displays. Special entertainment is scheduled throughout the season including theatre performances, community choirs, street characters and musicians. Many family favourite activities are back including a craft for children, baking in the Farmhouse and, of course, visits with Father Christmas.

3. Capilano Canyon Lights

The suspension bridge, Treetops Adventure, Cliffwalk, the rainforest and canyon are transformed into a world of festive lights and visual enchantment.  Decorate gingerbread cookies and make your own Christmas card (by donation) in the Winter Pavilion, and sing-along with the holiday band.

During the holiday season, the Bright Nights Christmas Train and Stanley Park Train Plaza sparkle with three million twinkling lights. Buy tickets to ride the Bright Nights Train and experience the lights, breathtaking displays, and live performers along the train route. Or view the displays at the Train Plaza by donation ($4.00 suggested). Your donations and a portion of ticket sales go to the BC Professional Fire Fighters' Burn Fund.

For two whole weeks, the Wesbrook Welcome Centre will be full of hundreds of yuletide balloons. This unique holiday feature lifts off on Saturday, December 3rd, the same day as the Craft Market at Wesbrook Community Centre. On opening day, there'll be Santa photos, carolers, balloon twister, and more. A new tradition is in the air. And it's all free. "Pop" on by!
